Well, a lot has happened the past couple of weeks. I guess the biggest change in my life is that I moved back home. After a lot of paying and fasting, help from family, crying, and making a bigger deal then what needed to be made, I decided that school was the best option for me. So, ISU will be my second home this fall. I am taking a lot of math classes so I can teach math so I will be spending a lot of time in study sessions! Bring it on calculus!! It was really hard to leave Arizona. I met some amazing friends and will miss then terribly but they will just have to come and visit the great state of Idaho:) I am happy to be home though and have a lot of things planned before school starts.

So some things I have been doing...me, Roxy, and a couple of ladies in our ward took a trip to Zion's to hike the Narrows. Let me just say it was amazing! So pretty and something that I will never forget. It was so worth the 20 mile hike through freezing water, slipping on rocks, freaking myself out with flash floods and creepy noises, and spending time with Roxy and some great ladies. Would I do it again?? Heck yes!

Our family took our annual camping trip. This year we decided to camp in style. We stayed in a house in Bear Lake and it was the best idea ever!!! We played cards, played in the water, got sunburned, took family pictures, went through a cave, and made memories. Can't wait for next year!

I had a birthday, shoot hooray! It was a great birthday because for one, it was my birthday, and second, I got to spend it with the people I love:) I got scrubs (cause I am now a CNA), books, clothes, a blanket, jazz apparel, and flowers! I'm a lucky girl!

Me, mom, Whitney, Susan, Jessica, Kathy, Lisa, and Natalie hiked Table Rock. I love that hike and we had a great time. This year we went up and back down the back way. It was a little longer, but easy on the knees! Ended the hike with square ice cream at the Dam store:)

I went to West Yellowstone with Brett and his family. I about froze my butt off learning how to surf, but it was worth it. Brett's family was great and after stressing about getting beat up (if you know the story), I made it through the weekend and had an amazing time!

As for now, I will be working at Safe Haven working on the activities committee. I am super excited about playing bingo and not having to wipe butt's! One more week till school starts so the plan is to play hard!!!

Lagoon!

Just 2 weeks before I move home, my parents bought me a ticket to come to Utah for Cooper's baby blessing. I couldn't have asked for a better trip. Finally got to see Cooper, who is so freaking cute!!! All our family was there and to top it off, we went to Lagoon! It makes moving home that much more exciting:)
Last ride of the day...our faces say it all!
"Melanie, LET ME GO, LET ME GO!!" ha ha ha

Catching up!

It feels like I haven't posted forever, but I have just been doing a lot lately so I need to catch everyone up:) Lucky you! Me and Ami went to Disneyland a couple weeks ago. It was so so so much fun! Just the two of us on a road trip...to DISNEYLAND!!! We cruised through the park, went on all the rides, twice, went to California Adventure, and had an amazing time. Tower of Terror...I will be back for you!! I love that ride. We also went to Knott's Berry Farms. I had never been there before but it was so fun! Silver Bullet was so intense I about peed my pants, literally! It was a great vacation that we both needed. Whitney came for her friend's wedding and so that was so good to see family! I made her come to a work BBQ with me, which was an adventure in itself:) Ha ha, playing basketball with drunk men...I will always win!! As for now, just playing around and causing some trouble. I don't know what I will do with all my time now that the Jazz are out of the runnings, but I guess I can cheer for the Suns...it will be tough, but anyone but the Lakers! My friends made me this nice cake, that I wanted to shove back in their face, but I ate it anyways. Don't worry, I will get them back, I always do!

I was in need a of a long over-due trip home so what better time to go when my dad had Jazz tickets and tickets to the NCAA tournament!! Wow I am so spoiled! I dragged my friend Ami along for the ride to give her a real taste of Idaho and Utah. Can you believe that this was her first time to Utah? Crazy I know. It was such a fun trip, besides me getting sick and throwing everything up! I was in heaven with all the basketball games. Plus being with my family wasn't too bad either:)
Me and Amos on the plane ride home!

Go Jazz!!!

Between birthday princess parties, flying kites, basketball games, and eating yummy ice cream, the trip was a success! I love my family and can't ask for any better. Ami is back in her warm country and I'm back to pushing old people around:) Man I love my job!!

Get in my belly!!

I was doing a little blog hopping the other day. I was bored and had probably way to many things to do but didn't want to do them so I waisted my time searching through other people's blogs who I have never even met. The blogs that were coming up were either all Japanese or making a tribute to their cat. The last blog I looked at had a question on it asking, "What would be your last meal and why?" I thought about it and so I decided to post this question to all of you who look at my blog. For me, I would have a massive feast! It would definitely be a 5 course meal starting with a salad made by Melanie cause she always makes the best salads. Then mashed potatoes and gravy, stringy meat, pretzel salad dessert (no whip cream), and of course rolls made by no other then you mom:) Wow this is making me hungry! I would then end the meal off right with a huge bowl of ice cream from the Schwan Man!!! What a feast! Why I chose this meal is because it has so many memories with it. Sunday dinners, being surrounded by family, and being happy:) Alright the question is now yours. Tell me, what would be your last meal, and why?

So life right now is great! I have so many things to be grateful for. My job, family, friends, health, the gospel, and many more. My job is crazy to say the least. Everyday I come home with funny stories. From old creepy men hitting on me, to looking for an Alzheimer's patient's car for an hour, I stay pretty entertained! It definitely makes me appreciate my age and health! I have made some amazing friends from all over! I know I moved here to meet these friends of mine. We always have so much fun whether it is just sitting watching The Bachelor eating ice cream or putting crisco and bagels all over peoples houses:) You know who you are! Next comes family! My mom and dad...what can I say! Words don't do justice to show how grateful and blessed I am to have you as my parents. How you got stuck with me I will never know but wow I am glad! I have the best parents in the world. Since I have the best parents then that means I have to have the best sisters too:) I think since I have moved away I have gotten closer to them. A day rarely goes by that I don't talk to one of them. They are all such good examples to me. They all have married wonderful men and have the best families and someday I hope to have the same (oops I mean WHEN right Ami!). Working on it guys. I will make it to Hawaii if it kills me:) Last but not least is the Gospel. I am so grateful to know what I am living for and that I have the opportunity to live with our Heavenly Father again. I love being a member of the church and it is so true! It's true... so simply put! So now everyone has seen the emotional side of Chelsey, I will get back to being my normal self. Pictures of more events will be up soon...Jazz vs Suns tomorrow!!!!
