For our first weekend in DC, my fellow interns and I (I would like to call them my friends!) took a trip to Gettysburg. It was a day filled of driving, walking, and lots of information. It really helps when all of your friends are braniacs and know everything about history! Love it!

Well, I am now in Washington, D.C. Kind of hard to believe that I actually just got up and moved out here for the rest of the year. So far, I am loving it! It is crazy to me that I ride the metro to work everyday and then work right next to the Capitol Building! I am answering phone calls, delivering mail, learning everything about Congress, and going to be giving tours. This is a once in a lifetime chance. I have made some really good friends so far and hope to make some more. My ward is extremely big, like 300 people big. Just a little different then the Branch back at home hu! Anyways, as soon as I take some pictures, I will get them uploaded so everyone can see just how cool everything is! Love it!!!

Ragnar Relay

Me, Casey, and Whitney ran in the Ragnar Relay, which is a relay race from Logan, Utah to Park City, Utah. We had a team of 12 woman who ran over 180 miles all together!! i don't know how many times people would ask us if we were triplets! It was such a compliment because look at those two! They are beautiful, even after running miles and miles with no sleep! It actually was a lot of fun, but if I was asked again to do it, I would seriously have to do some searching and pondering!!! Ha ha, the answer is YES!

Crazy Sunday Afternoon's!!
Sunday's at the Jackson household can become pretty crazy! As you can tell from the picture, me and Whitney are the one's who suffered!! Here is a tip... If you ever play the rubberband game..... Don't play with Shawn and Jo!!! After realizing that I wasn't dead, I walked away with only a minor bumps and bruises, but I am feeling it today! Even with the near death experience, it was a great Sunday. A day full of family, food, and fun! I am going to miss these days the most when I leave for D.C. Saturday, July 26, 2008
