Christmas time once again!

Wow, I can't believe that Christmas and New Years has came and gone! It fly's by so fast and to tell you the truth, I don't like it but I did love being home surrounded by family and friends. You are looking at the Scavenger Hunt champion! Funny story, I got stuck with my Dad and Luke...not the most competitive people of the family! Well, while I am complaining and arguing about the team situation, my dad is out stealing the keys out of everyone's car! Goes to show, never doubt the quiet guys! Luke wasn't too bad either! He drove on the lawn and dodged Shawn! All in all, it was awesome and I can't wait for next year:) For Christmas, my mom and dad surprised me with tickets to meet the Utah Jazz team. I was speechless! It was pretty much amazing and and awesome way to end the trip. Now I'm back to Arizona just working and playing away! The past couple of weeks have been full of fun and excitement with a little bit of drama ;) I am really loving it here in Arizona, but I still miss my family like crazy. Being away on holiday's makes me really grateful for the family that I have. I had to work at the hospital on Thanksgiving, but time and a half made up for it. I am definitely loving my job. I see a lot of things that I don't want to see like being around old wrinkly patients in hospital gowns that don't cover very much!!! GROSS! But, I do have fun and I might add, my little arms aren't that little anymore. Anyways, the pictures I am included are of music appreciation night of Phil Vassar, scum dinner (which Ami and I had to cook cause I lost), and hiking up Flatiron. I need to do better at taking pictures cause I have done a lot of fun stuff and there are still lots to come:)

Sister's Trip

Since I have told all my sisters and mom to update their blogs (which they have done a fabulous job at), I figured I should do the same! The Sister's trip was pretty much amazing. I love my family so much and it was so good to see them. It was a weekend full of laughing, crying, shopping, screaming, and lots of excitement! I wouldn't have traded anything for it. Between the Jazz game, Collin Raye concert, and So You Think You Can Dance, my favorite would have to be just hanging out with my mom and sisters. I love you guys and can't wait to see you around Christmas:) Thanks for the best weekend ever!!!

Happy Halloween!

Halloween has come and gone! I can't believe it! This year, Ami and I went all out! She broke out of jail and I was just clowning around:) We broke out of our shells and went to a regional ward activity. We even broke our record and talked to 5 different boys!!! Oh yeah! We are moving on up. Ha ha. It was a fun night ending with free drinks at Sonic...Thanks Kevin (and Ami's flirting skills)!

I am so excited!!! I get to see my mom and sister's this coming weekend! It is going to be so much fun. Jazz game, Collin Raye, So You Think You Can Dance, Park City, etc!! Wow it's gonna be a packed weekend! Results will come shortly! Look for us on t.v. at the Jazz Game!! We are gonna be hardcore!!

Blast from the Past!

The other night I was able to go to a Arizona Diamondbacks game! It was so cool to be so close. I was a little worried thinking that I was going to die of heat exhaustion, but the field is inside! Loved every minute of it too. The game was awesome and we had great seats. I will definitely be hitting up all the sports games here! Especially when the Jazz come to town!!!!

I have actually been doing a bunch of fun stuff here! I am loving everything here, except the no job thing and the heat, but I am begining to get used to the heat. Too bad I can't make a living out of looking for jobs because I have gotten really good at it! Ha ha, I wake up, and say..."Where am I going today?" Same thing, just a new day! It's all good though and I think I have a few prospects:) Things will only get better. Thankfully, everyone has been awesome support and has helped me get through these rough times. So other then looking for jobs, I have been loving the ward! Bishop (Ron) was right about an awesome ward. I have a hard time calling him Bishop cause I am so used to calling him DJ Ron. Anyways, they do a lot of stuff and it's a blast. Just the other night I played baskeball with all the guys! It just made me realize how much I miss it! This weekend, I'm going hiking so I will tell all about it next time:)

No, I haven't grown a hunchback, Ami just decided to stuff my shirt with chips! We just borrowed them, but we will bring them back, maybe:)

Hot hot hot!

Well, I made it:) It took about 3 diet cokes, lots of snacks, and a book on tape to get me here, but look out Arizona, I'm here! Bring on the heat and sweat. Seriously, I walk from my car to my house, and I am dripping in sweat. No joke, it's hot! Another month though, and it will all be better. So I have just been looking for jobs and looking some more. Everyday I get up and say, "where should I go to fill out more applications!" You would think that I could find a job sooner or later. Can't let that get me down though, cause I'm AVAILABLE:) Ha ha! I love my roommates and ward though. Ron and Karen have hooked me up with some awesome girls. We play Nert's, eat ice cream, go to parties, and have a great time! When I found out that I was going to move here, one of the first things I did was googled Nielsen's Frozen Custard!! I am in heaven because they have one and it's not too far away. This is gonna blow my savings!!! I gotta get a job and quick! Too bad they aren't hiring:) I miss my family terribly, but I know this move was right and it will only make me stronger. Don't worry Mel, you can't keep me away from Pocatello for that long!

CAMPING!!

This past week our family went on our annual camping trip. We went up towards Red Fish. I couldn't have asked for a better camping trip. Full of family, horses, fun, dirt, cards, and of course yummy food! We went on hikes, swam in very cold cold water, went on awesome horse rides (of course on the best horse Hot Dox) and made a bunch of memories. Definitely went out with a bang before I head off to the hot heat in Arizona!

I'ts about time!!!

Wow! I can't believe how long it has been since I have updated. I really don't have any excuses other then I just haven't taken the time:) So to catch up, I moved to Rigby to live with Shawn and Rachelle when I got home from DC. It was so fun living with their family and I got really close to them. My plan was to find a teaching job and finally start my career...but plans don't always happen the way I want! So, I moved back home and now I am just working at Sizzler trying to save up on money! My recent plans for now is to move to Arizona and start a new life there. Ha ha I just can't seem to stay in one place long enough! It will be an adventure and a fun one at that! The past 5-6 months have been full of some exciting times though. Casey and Whit both got married. Casey married Luke and Whit married Griff. The weddings were awesome and they both looked so beautiful. So, I guess that just leaves me..... AVAILABLE:) ha ha, that's for you Mel!! Don't worry, I want to just give my mom a break from all this wedding stuff:) Mel and Jo added another baby girl, Delaney, to their family! She is adorable and fits right in with their cute family. That's about it for now. Not too exciting for me, but it will be:) Life is great!

My addictions!

It is hard to pick just 5 things that I am addicted to because I have so many!!! But to narrow it down...
1. Ice cream... I could not live without it! I don't see how anyone could. I owe my life to whoever created that stuff because it is a little piece of heaven!
2. Family...I love my family so much. They do so much for me and I couldn't make it through life without them. Not a day goes by that I don't thank Heavenly Father for my family. I am soooo lucky!!!
3. Nielsen's Frozen Custard... This is not just any kind of ice cream. I take a bite, and become speechless! Yes, it is really that good:)
4.Cottage Cheese and Crackers... If it's not ice cream, then it has got to be cottage cheese. Give me a container of this stuff and it will be gone in 5 minutes. Around midnight, this stuff makes the perfect snack! It is even better eating it with Whitney sitting around the t.v.!
5. My corn bag...I have that thing attached to my hip. It is on my lap right now! I go to sleep with it every night and put it at the bottom of my bed to keep me nice and toasty to let me dream of ice cream, family, and cottage cheese:)
