And now announcing....

 We are having a BABY!!!!

It has been a long time coming, and we couldn't be happier.  It's been a year and a half of lots of tears, frustration, shots, pills, doctors appointments, money, and worry, but it has definitely paid off.  Now, just another 4 1/2 months of worry and waiting, we will have our sweet, boy/girl in our home and family.  We couldn't be more blessed!  Both of our families have been the greatest support and I want to thank them and everyone who has been there for us on the road here.  I'm almost 16 weeks along so it's getting close to find out whether it's a boy or a girl.  Brett's reasoning is a little crazy, but he wants a boy because his dream is to beat the record for skiing/wake boarding at 6 months!!  He is crazy for even thinking that I would even consider putting our child out on the water that early!!  Hey, it can be his dream though!  Me, on the other hand, could care less what it's going to be.  Of course I will love our baby no matter what!  So for another 4 months, here's to getting a BIG BELLY!

Finally!

I know it is about a month late, and I could come up with a lot of different excuses, but I just really forgot.  So here is Brett on his Alaska trip.  He was so excited to go and now that it is over, he is looking for every excuse to go back.  I am too, but only because we have a freezer full of yummy fish!  Between fish, potatoes and elk, we are going to be set for food.  Now if only we could magically fill it full of ice cream!!!!

He better be talking to me:)

Let Freedom Ring!

The 4th of July was a blast! Justin, Kara, Whit, Griff, and Brett and I all celebrated the birth of America with some good ole boating!  It started out early on the water with some great bagels and fruit, followed by catching some air on the board:)  Yes, I am talking about me!  Ha ha I wish!!!  After wakeboarding, surfing, and tubing all day in the sun, we were exhausted to say the least!  We were all sunburned and burned out!  It was a great day with great friends but mostly family!!!  Love you guys!

"Girl look at that body! I work out!"
"My bottoms are surfacing!"

Just looking good:)

Life styles of the rich and famous!

Below you will find a plethora of pictures.  We have been doing a lot of fun stuff lately. Fun stuff as in getting pictures with famous people!!!!  Yes that is Raja Bell:)  On our way to the Jazz playoff game, we happened to run into him as he was driving into the arena.  We also saw Devin Harris flying past us in a very nice Bentley.  I tried to get Brett to get on his tail and follow him, but Brett obeys all traffic laws.

Look at that good lookin couple!

He is so cute:)

This last saturday we got together with some friends and decided go on bike ride.  Stephen and Jennifer came over early and we made breakfast. Then Brad, Laura and their two kids came and we went on a biking adventure.  It was such a beautiful day and we had a ton of fun!  We rode to Midway and rode all around the town.  On our way back we stopped by this cute little ice cream shop.  It has slug bugs coming out of the building and is just so fun. We have been trying to get to some new places in town so we can check that one off the list.  Next stop will be Tony's Tacos.

Go, go, go!

We have had a blast the last couple of weekends!  It's been pretty busy but we wouldn't have it any other way.  We went back to Idaho a couple weekends ago to see DYW (Jr. Miss) and the Rodeo!  I didn't take any pictures at Jr. Miss cause Brett wasn't the happiest, since I made him go.  What a great husband he is:)  We went to the Rodeo with Bryce and Becky.  It was so much fun.  We always have a blast with them!  Luckily we made it in the Rodeo...I forgot the tickets in Heber.  We called our landlord and he got in our house and scanned them over to us.  It all worked out so Bryce didn't have to kick my butt.

Last Saturday we went to the University of Utah's Spring game.  I could really care less about how the rest of the team does but Griff played awesome!  We were the loudest and proudest fans!  It was a beautiful day and we were surrounded by family.  It was so much fun!  We are truly blessed with great family, great friends, and a great life!

Things are still great in Heber!  I have started working at Kneaders that just opened here.  It's been crazy busy but it will be a good job.  It's kinda fun to be back in a bakery, plus they have delicious sandwiches!  Go there!!  Brett is still working hard and strong at Epic.  We are getting excited for it to start getting nicer so we can go BOATING!

Heber City

Say what you like but we are now Utards!  Other then being away from family and friends, it's actually pretty nice here in Heber City.  Brett is now a desk man.  He is getting used to his new job and likes the change.  I love it cause I actually get to see him a lot more.  He gets off at 5:30 and is home by 5:33 :)  Before, I was lucky if he got home around 7 or 8.  Plus Friday is a half day, and Saturday is all dedicated to me:)  As for me and a job, I am subbing, hoping it will eventually led into a permanent position teaching.

We have some really fun and interesting neighbors.  They are an older couple and are so full of information! Whether it be about themselves and their birthday presents, or bowel movements, they have it all!  Ray and Forest...say that fast...rainforest!  Ha ha! Last weekend we went with them to the sportsman's expo in Salt Lake.  It was so fun to get out and do something.  It was pretty interesting to say the least, but they were great and pretty hilarious!  Forest can't walk long distances so he has this OLD little scooter and cruises around on it!  Ha ha, I laugh when I think about him on it.  It's great to have good neighbors!  We have also made some new friends in the ward.  They are a younger couple, so around our age group.  They just moved into the ward as well so we automatically found some common ground.  We went over the other night for games and dinner and it was so fun!  It's their turn now to come over to our house and play some hand and foot!

Other then that life is pretty good.  I can always find something to complain about, but yesterday after a rough weekend, I realized...it doesn't do any good to complain and cry and wish things were different.  Sure I like to throw myself a pity party, but do it and move on.  Keep my head up and go forward with faith!  Everything will be all right!

When life throws you a curve ball...

...run for it you idiot, that's a grenade!!!!  Ha ha that's about how I feel right about now:)  So we just moved into our cute little house just before Christmas, got all situated, painted, fixed it up nice and fun, and then BAM!!!  Brett got a job in Heber, Utah!  Don't get me wrong, I am so excited for him and proud of him.  This is what we have been praying for so I should have known it was coming.  I just didn't think this fast!  I know this is what we are supposed to do, but it's super hard leaving family and friends that are so close! Literally, living less then a minute from my mom and dad, and Mel and Jo!  I guess I better count my blessings cause we do have a lot of them:)  So our new adventure awaits us!  Brett will leave this coming Monday, while I hold down the fort till I can transfer to Costco and rent out our house.  It will be a hard couple weeks being gone from each other, but it's a good thing my family is so close!

Now that's out of the way, we have just been busy with work and play.  Brett has been playing city basketball and I think I like it more then he does!!  I never miss a game and with the help of Dan and Margee Bebee, we are the loudest cheerleaders!  It's way fun! I just started as well.  My first game was 2 days ago, and my body still feels like it was hit by a semi!  I was literally rolling out of bed and I think I pulled some vital muscles in my legs.  The price I pay to do what I love!!!
Here are a few pictures of past events:)
